Marie Rossettie is a visual artist and certified medical illustrator based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She works in a wide variety of painting and drawing techniques, focusing on form, function, and photorealism. Despite the diversity of her chosen mediums, her art maintains a constant thread of curiosity and appreciation for human anatomy – as well as our collective frailty and beauty.

Marie holds a Masters of Science in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She owns Left Right Brain, an independent creative services company specializing in medical, scientific, and fine art. She is also the co-founder of Level Retreat, an oasis for multidisciplinary artists to temporarily live, create, and be inspired to produce enduring works.
